Manager/Assistant Manager Communications & Media

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To support the Director in all aspects of client relations and management.
  • To assist the Director in preparing necessary proposal for new clients’ and existing clients’ project when requested.
  • To assist the Director in PR for events and support the event’s team as and when necessary.
  • Establishing media contact and maintaining strong media relations - work with Media Monitoring & Media Buy team to plan relevant media plan activities and implement as planned and expected.
  • To assist the Director in executing communications strategies and programmes to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • To assist the Director in conducting periodic strategic communications programme reviews for clients.
  • To assist the Director proactively in identifying existing and emerging issues and devise solutions to manage issues successfully.
  • To assist the Director in preparation of communications programme or project evaluation reports and to compile all OPEDs, advise and other documentations for respective clients.
  • To assist the Director with preparation of press releases, handle media invitations, press conferences and other related media documents as per the media plan.
  • Respond to clients’ e-mails, text messages & voicemails on the same day of receipt.
  • To read and be updated on all media monitoring of respective clients.
  • To make arrangement for various meetings, engagements and discussion with clients.
  • To have proper filing system for contacts’ details with respect / regards to each client and all files must be organized and up to-date.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor degree in Mass Communication or equivalent industry experience required.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in PR, media or client servicing industry in a PR Agencies.
  • Must have excellent Public Relations & client servicing skills.
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English. Added language is an advantage.
  • Attention to Details and Time Management skills are highly desired.
  • Must be able to work independently and be a team player.
  • Positive thinking, loyal, helpful with pleasant appearance and personality.

Other Responsibilities

  • Responsible on office 5 S (Clearing, Organizing, Cleaning, Maintaining & Self Discipline.
  • To perform & complete all and any other task given in a timely manner.
  • To ensure all private & confidential matters of the company are being dealt with discreetly.
  • To assist Managing Director and other colleagues as and when necessary.
