JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in the overall functions and activities of the Design department.
• Collaborate with several internal departments supporting design and technical tasks to prepare and develop the related drawings, models, images, and materials that are aligned with the internal department needs while maintaining brand image and company identity.
• Ensure the interior design process from initial ideation until project completion meets the quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Develop tendering lot drawings for secured lots.
• Comment on the designs prepared by the third party according to space planning and overall layout, including architecture and furniture selection, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that work in the space and meet the intended design goals.
• Present all the drawings with detailed specifications.
• Source and select the appropriate materials, furnishings, lighting, and decor elements that align with the design concept and overall brand vision.
• Comply with company procedures and standards, liaise with the external design team and other organizations as needed.
• Conduct site visits and participate in meetings with various stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure seamless project implementation.
• Work closely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate the procurement and installation of the interior elements.
• Monitor the quality of contractor work and improvements.
• Undergo final inspection with the landlord and local authority prior to work completion to obtain their approval and ensure a smooth handover.
• Provide administrative support by taking a good care of the department-related files.
• Handle projects end-to-end, from design to drafting to execution in a budget and timely manner.
• Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Must possess at least a Degree in Architecture/ Interior Design or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field (retail interior design experience is preferred).
• Skills required are 3D Max Modelling & Rendering, Sketchup & V Ray, Rendering, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong visualization and conceptualization skills and ability to understand the brand identity.
• Knowledge of construction site and marketing branding languages are also required.
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, self-motivated, and proactive individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time, and project management skills.
• Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
