JOB DESCRIPTION

• To greet and escort customers to their tables.
• To present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies).
• To prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
• To inform customers about the day’s specials.
• To offer menu recommendations upon request.
• To up-sell additional products when appropriate.
• To communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.
• To serve food and drink orders.
• To check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
• To arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
• To deliver checks and collect bill payments.
• To carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
• To follow all relevant health department regulations.
• To provide excellent customer service to guests.
