To handle daily guest, check in and check out process.
To handle cash payment, and ensure monies are deal with as per company cash handling policy and procedure.
To provide upscale guest service experiences for guest throughout their stay.
To ensure guest are properly greeted upon their arrival.
To monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in.
To coordinate luggage collection and storage.
To ensure special guests, e.g. disabled, elderly, children and VIPs, receive personalized services.
To inform guest on our hotel services, breakfast, dining options and parking accommodations.
To assist daily arrangement of groups booking and arrival.
To examine self-duties, assign tasks and check on progress.
To maintain friendly relationships with all hotel guest.
To answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner accordance to hotel standards.
To make reservations over the phone and in person.
To keep work area neat and tidy.
To listen carefully and resolve complaints from guest.
To ensure facilities are maintained to the required standard.
To ensure provide excellent guest service at all times.
To work closely with housekeeping and maintenance on room service.
To attend departmental meeting and training programme.
To promote a safe working environment.
To practice safe working habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards.
To be aware on hotels safety and health policies and procedure.
To recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see.
To report on any defect or any maintenance issue to relevant department.
To maximize revenue of hotel at all.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
