JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare the equipment for all medical procedures.
• Assist medical officers during examinations and procedures.
• Attending to emergency patients presenting to the emergency room.
• Assist or perform wound dressings.
• Take and record patients’ vital signs.
• Be proficient in performing all laboratory tests that are available in Klinik As-Salam.
• Be proficient in patients’ registration, preparing and dispensing medications.
• To be proficient in clinical procedures such as:
  1. Dressing.
  2. Taking blood.
  3. Nebulizer.
  4. IV Drip.
  5. Toilet & Suturing.
  6. Assist doctor in consultation room if needed.
  7. Insert and remove CBD.
  8. Eye Irrigation.
  9. Nail avulsion.
  10. Other procedures as deemed appropriate and relevant to the clinic’s operation.
• Assist in monthly stock taking.
• Be presentable and professional at all times during working hours.
• Attending to patients’ queries and needs with courtesy and in a professional manner.
• Attend regular training arranged by Human Resource / Training Department.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Must possess Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Assistant.
• Preferably with at least 1 year working experience as an Assistant Medical Assistance.
• A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skill.
