JOB DESCRIPTION

• To greet customers when entering and leaving cashier counter.
• Overview surrounding area and ensure all are usual and normal. - if noticed something difference, ask second opinion or advice - to ask PIC if there is needed to top up plastic bag, audit roll, staples and others.
• To On POS and check all hardware are in good condition.
• To log in own ID as given.
• To change system business date as per request.
• To count float monies and key in using ‘Cash In’ menu.
• To collect customer payments either in cash, by credit card or debit card payments as per company SOP.
• To keep yourselves updated with latest pricing and promotions - If price not updated, inform PIC immediately.
• To inform PIC to collect ‘pickup or cash out’ if cash monies are reach RM1,000.00 - Always double count money received from customer and before gave balance to customer, to avoid argument due to wrong change - Never change notes over the counter without permission from PIC - Never open the cash machine without permission from PIC.
• To ensure safety, cleanliness and hygiene at the cashiering area according to company standards.
• To check item description is tally with item.
• Scan barcode for each item (DO NOT TYPE)
• Inform Supervisor of any customer’s complaints.
• Pro-active support and work in a team to smoothen the cashier operation.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• SPM and above.
• Minimum 1 years related working experiences will be advantages.
• Able to work on shift basis and weekends.
• Committed and Responsible.
