JOB DESCRIPTION
To coordinate the work done in the department with requirements of the various departments.
To be actively involved in sourcing of new products including food products and to review quality/pricing against existing products
with the aim of reducing costs.
To assist the Purchasing Team Members in their work ad price negotiations.
To assist the Purchasing Manager to keep costs low without jeopardizing quality.
To build up good professional relationship with suppliers and to project good image of the hotel.
To be trained in food safety management.
To assist in the processing of Purchase Orders.
To assist in the processing of the daily market lists when required.
To assist with Stores operations when required.
