Assign all planned deliveries and collection schedules to drivers based on the Consignment Note and to ensure Driver performed as planned.
Assist the Superior in preparing daily movement reports, discrepancy reports for all incidents such as late delivery, problems delivery, PM breakdown, drivers’ attendance, accident.
Communicate directives to driver on the delivery and collection schedules and monitor and tracking driver’s movement on the planned delivery and collection schedules and ensure timely and safely delivery and collection are made as per customer’s requirement.
Monitor Drivers movement through hand phone/GPS/Web portal system and ensure problems related to the movements are attended timely to meet the delivery target.
Responsible to update the delivery and collection status in the system to monitor the movement of Drivers and prime Movers. Alert Drivers on their timely delivery and collection schedule.
Book vessel for export containers with Port Authority and ensure relevant information are communicated to Port on the vessel number, space charter, container size etc. to facilitate the smooth operations of export shipment.
Involved in checking the works ticket submitted by Drivers against the Consignment Notes and to ensure the information such as, job numbers, consignee, request number, etc. are recorded accurately prior submitting to the Executive for verification.
Constantly maintain and update key management record on the issuance of Prime Movers keys to Drivers on monitoring purpose.
Maintain and update Driver’s performance and attendance record for monitoring purpose. Ensure timely submission of relevant to the Superior for effective management of Driver’s performance and attendance.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least SPM/SKM/STPM or Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics or Transportation or Maritime or equivalent.
Fresh Diploma/Degree are encouraged to apply.
Required Male candidate for this position.
Applicants must be wiiling to work on 3 shift including Sunday and Public Holiday by rotation.
