JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide efficient, effective technical support to both internal and external customers, with the objective of coordinating, managing, solving their problems in a minimal time frame.
• Design, implement and maintain enterprise-scale network and architecture.
• Design security patterns for cloud, internal and production networks as well as implement network security initiatives.
• Manage the lifecycle of network routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers etc.
• To ensure all related operations activities are performed in compliance with company standards, processes, regulations and procedures.
• Ensure network performance is optimal and appropriate security controls are in place.
• Network troubleshooting and fault analysis.
• Conduct security assessment for major application and infrastructure changes.
• Configuration and support of networking between on-premise and Nextcloud.
• Engage with both internal & wider development teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance across a wide range of teams and cultures.
• Keep abreast of new tools and practices and recommend their suitability to ensure the organization uses the best available technology to maximize productivity and/or SLA’s.
• Ensure SLAs are met for all IT systems and services.
• Identify areas of risk and proactively seek solutions to mitigate impacts to service and availability.
• Reporting includes progress, monthly reports, support incident reports on a monthly basis in an agreed format.
• Evaluate processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
• Be able to work on-call after hours.
• Any other task(s) as assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, client-server and applications.
• Strong knowledge of data communications networking technologies, architectures, platforms and protocols.
• Strong network diagramming skills, network diagnostic tools, network hardware such as router and switches.
• Good knowledge of network security methods and required configurations for network devices.
• Experience with security concepts and technologies (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, multi-protocol gateways and VPN.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior working experience in operational/security support in server and database.
• A minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Must familiar with Companies Act.
