JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide support in the overall materials ordering and purchasing including customs clearance, warehousing and preparation of documents to comply with statutory requirements.
  • Process all  PRs and prepare  purchase orders and ensure suppliers supply the goods on time.
  • Check stock level of all raw materials to ensure no stock out of materials.
  • Key in PRs and POs into the system and generate reports from the database.
  • Monitor overseas shipment schedules and prepare necessary documents for port clearance.
  • Prepare all required reports for submission to Customs, MIDA, etc.
  • Source for suppliers and get the necessary quotations on new material requests for end users.
  • Build and maintain a network of suppliers and continuously source for alternative suppliers and materials.
  • Check all invoices and ensure all supporting documents are complete and correct before submission to Accounts for payment.
  • Administer  Materials Management policies and procedures and ensure all staff adhere to them.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
