  • To develop a detailed production schedule on all tasks and to meet the completion date.
  • To evaluate the Project Data and to create suitable production schedules.
  • To associate with Business Development Division and meet the customers’ requirements.
  • To estimate the number of materials, equipment and workforce required for production.
  • To coordinate production operations and workflow in accordance with materials, labour, and equipment availability for a single or multiple projects.
  • Able to schedule shifts according to production needs from time to time.
  • To monitor the project’s progress and to ensure that it is according to the schedule / plan.
  • To compile status, performance reports and submit them to the management as per plan.
  • To recommend solutions to reduce production costs (improve process & quality).
  • To Plan and Prioritize operations that ensure max. performance with min. delay.
  • To address and resolve production issues promptly to reduce delays in production.
  • To carry out changes in production schedules & ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • To inform the relevant depts. about the changes and current challenges in production.
  • To monitor all tasks & production and to ensure that it is completed on time & within budget.
  • To collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff as a team.
  • To interact with Customers and Suppliers and relevant depts to provide solutions.
  • To ensure that all staff, materials and machineries are always available whenever required.
  • To collect and evaluate data from the production floor and team's performance.
  • To monitor the maintenance dept. and to carry out effective inspection plans.
  • Able to complete any tasks given and report to the superior before the target date.


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field is preferred.

  • Certified in Production & Inventory Mgmt. (CPIM) / other relevant certification is advantage

  • Proven track record with working experience as a Production Planner.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

  • Sound knowledge in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and its related software.

  • Strong analytical person with problem–solving skills.

  • Excellent and effective in communication, people and time management skills.

  • Impressive knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.

  • Excellent Stress management skills, Leadership and Organizational Skills.
