JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.
• Developing media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
• Preparing media kit such as property fact sheets, press releases, relevant project pictures, Spokesperson speech, and profile to distribute to the media.
• Writing and disseminating news releases and responding to media inquiries.
• Planning and executing media launches, groundbreaking ceremony, press conference.
• Consistent communication through standardized corporate profile messages.
• Events where medias and/ or KOLs are present, or instructed by the Marketing Manager.
• Showrooms where events are held for medias and/or customers, or instructed by the Marketing Manager.
• Provide assistance and support to relevant department in HABIB Group when required.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to converse and write in another language is an added advantage.
• Ability to navigate in a collaborative work environment, to influence, align and deliver on strategic and tactical topics, at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain perspective and bring positive attitude and courage to partnership discussions.
• Professional maturity and ability to work effectively across levels, functions, regions and backgrounds.
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mass Communication, Management, or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in front end PR/ Communications.
• Experienced in the retail industry would be an added advantage.
• Association with a PR agency.
