JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify potential vendors and obtain quotes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify purchasing needs and negotiate deals with potential vendors.
  • Conduct regular price comparison to ensure that the company is always the best price for each product that is purchased.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and prepare cost analyses.
  • Follow up with vendors, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
  • Create and maintain good relationship with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare orders, compile reports, and maintain updated records of each purchased.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Required Skill(s) / Knowledge(s): Good Communication and Interpersonal Skill, Negotiation Skill, Research and Analysis Skill, Good Organisation & Planning Skill.
  • Proficient in MS Office, i.e. PowerPoint & Excel are a must.
  • At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in purchasing role or related field is required for this position.
  • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight.
