JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assemble, install, test and maintain mechanical equipment, appliances and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances etc.
• Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate appropriately with the operators, mechanics, other electricians, engineers, supervisors and managers.
• Work from height and lifts to install.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing gloves, safety helmets, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Must have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
• At least 2 years' experience as an mechanical technician.
• Having a basic knowledge of railway rolling stocks.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
• Willingness to perform maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
