Set up Of Sheet Metal Fabrication Line to be able to achieve all method of manufacturer (MOM) requirements as per customer manual SABRe, AS9100 and/or industry standard.
Lead the Day to Day Process Surveillance and any testing to maintain process and process capability.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to, Leading NPI activies on these processes, creating Manufacturing documentation, Engineering procedures.
Responsibility for Consumables, and process Costs • Managing metal fabrication procedure qualifications and generating fabrication procedures to help the manufacturing and production teams.
Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on machining issues.
Be involved in Process Improvement to either reduce costs, times and to achieve Zero defects (100% RFT)
Analyzes engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates, and implements all changes.
Establishes and maintains manufacturing bill of materials and production routings.
Involvment in any future NPI and processes.
Setting up of Fabrication Line and establish the testing requirements of the Fabrication, and achieve all required approvals. Assist in any fixture design and development of fixtures.
Create and manage the Method of Manufacture this includes all relevant required Engineering documentation, including Consumables and cost as per budget.
Leads the day-to-day surveillance of operations from the Engineering perspective, running Engineering Applications and conducting performance analysis, customer technical meetings.
Member of the TOT and conduct C&CA on Non-conformances & creation of PFMEA’s.
Initiates and Lead Process Improvement to either reduce costs, times and to achieve Zero defects (100% RFT)
Develop Scope for any Capital Improvements, and assists management in medium and long term planning.
Prepare and submit Technical And Validation Reports.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree in Fabrication / Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
3 – 5 years’ experience in Metal Fabrication Manufacturing; aerospace preferred working to AS9100.
Oversee Sheet Metal fabrication and technical report writing.
Hands-on knowledge on Computer programmable machinery.
Lead process Improvement teams.
3 – 5 Years as Metal Fabrication Engineer.
Must be able to read drawings, blue-prints, and GD&T symbols.
Titanium sheet experience.
Strong verbal/written communication skill (in English).
Knowledge and Implemenation of Lean tools & PFMEA.
Strong leadership Skills, very driven.
Strong Analytical & Critical Skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and lead the team when required.
Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.
Effective Experiance on Analytical and Problem Solving.
