JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain welding/fabrication machines and tools are always in good condition and stored in proper place designated.
• Ensure the welding/fabrication machines, tools and workplace are clean at all times.
• Assist in setup and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines.
• pre-work preparation of welding/fabrication machine tools for welders, fitters and fabricators.
• Assist in cut, roll shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies.
• Removes rough spots from work metal pieces using portable grinder, hand file or scrapper.
• Follow safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, safety shoes and other Personal Protection Equipment.
• Any other related work responsibility assigned by reporting superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum SPM, Certificate Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding or equivalent.
• Working experience in welding and metal fabrication will be advantageous.
• Able to read and communicate in B.M. and basic English.
